Want to live to be over 100? Start your journey in one of 6 "Blue Zones" in the world. One part of Costa Rica stands out as a "Blue Zone", in which the quality of life allows for men and women to surpass the average lifespan. Here in Costa Rica The “Blue Zone” is located within the five cantons of Guanacaste, which are located in the Nicoya Peninsula: Santa Cruz, Hojancha, Carrillo, Nandayure and part of Nicoya. Precisely, in November, the World Meeting of Blue Zones will be held, with the purpose of investigating in depth what is happening in the area, sharing the experiences of the long-lived and knowing more from the scientific, cultural and health point of view. Without leaving aside the possibility of showing the tourist attractions of the Nicoya Peninsula. National and international guests will attend, as well as an agenda of activities for the enjoyment of visitors. On our tour we will visit a family from the Nicoya peninsula , where you will have a cooking claas and delicious typical lunch with older adults who will tell you their interesting stories, then you will visit a small town coffee plantation where the bluest of the blue zone coffee is produced.
