Africa Safari Adventure Park Day

Did you know that African wildlife feels right at home here in Guanacaste's pastureland? The eco-system mimics that of the plains of East Africa. Welcome to Ponderosa,Liberia where you can hand feed the friendliest giraffes in the world and much much more. The park has some 300 animals from 22 different species; 11 of them are African species that you can observe and some of these you can feed with carrot sticks. They live comfortably in a freedom-controlled 30-hectare area. During this incredible ride on board our special safari tour trucks, one of our trained guides will provide you with information and facts about every species. The tour takes approximately one hour, and each truck can carry 25 people. You can purchase the carrot sticks inside the park. Once you have worked up an appetite from your Safari you may enjoy a traditional Costa Rican lunch right in the park. You can also choose to add an afternoon at our waterfalls details Below. Africa Safari Tour: In a space of 30 hectares more than 250 exotic animals live and interact with visitors. Bijagua Sloth Search and Discovery

Experience one of Guanacaste’s greatest natural wonders: sloths in their native habitat. Plus a refreshing stop at the beautiful Cortez waterfalls along the way. Located just off the Pan American Highway, you will stop at the falls, where you can dip in the natural pool, sunbathe and relish the forest beauty and refreshing running spring water, abundant even in Costa Rica's dry season. Then comes the core adventure. Cortez Waterfall and Lunch

"Llanos de Cortez" waterfall. This beautiful, hidden gem is located down a short, steep trail, whose cascading waters you'll be able to hear from the parking lot. The falls drop into a tranquil pond with a white sandy beach that’s perfect for swimming and sunbathing. Go "backstage" and relax on the rocks behind the waterfall curtain. During this tour we will stop at a local restaurant called a soda to try the typical Costa Rican dish called casado. A casado is a traditional Costa Rican meal with rice, black beans,sweet plantains, salad, a tortilla, and an optional main dish that may include chicken, beef, pork, or fish.

Panga Fishing and Snorkeling ATV Tour

This amazing two-part tour can either start with fishing and snorkeling or with ATVing around the beaches local to the area. Costa Rica is famous for its beautiful white sand beaches. You will spend two hours exploring these beaches along the Pacific coastline by ATV. You can ride on the beach and can even stop for a swim if you would like.
