Palo Verde Wildlife River Boat Cruise

The Palo Verde National Park tour in Guanacaste, Costa Rica is usually on everyone's must-see list when visiting the Guanacaste Region. Your day starts early as we pick you up from your hotel or condo and drive you to one of the rarest and bio-diverse ecosystems in the world. Recommended for those who seek wildlife and birdlife. Palo Verde comprises dry forest, wetland and mangrove swamps, which is an ideal habitat for Costa Rican crocodiles, monkeys, iguanas, parrots and other exotic birds. The Palo Verde Tour carries you through one of the largest concentrations of waterfowl in Central America. After the tour enjoy a typical Costa Rica lunch at a local restaurant and then enjoy a short tour of the how pottery is produced in nearby villages. The Palo Verde National Park Riverboat Tour takes place along a stretch of the Tempisque River Conservation Area in Guanacaste Province, 30 km west of Canas, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. The surrounding region is mostly tropical dry forest, and the Park focuses on conserving vital floodplain, marshes, limestone ridges and seasonal pools from the encroachment of civilization to mitigate the risk to the ecology. A major feature is the density and variety of bird species, a substantial factor that led to the creation of the reserve, due in part to its diverse ecology: 15 different topographical zones ranging from evergreen forests to mangrove swamps. Birds spotted regularly in the park include Great Curassows, Scarlet Macaws, White Ibis, Roseate Spoonbills, Anhingas, Jabirus, and Wood Storks, among many others.

Sensoria Land of Senses Journey

Costa Rica is located at the heart of the gold coast of Central America, just 10 degrees above the line of the equator. Central America and Costa Rica are amazing nature destinations, featuring magical ecosystems developed over thousands of years, gathering natural resources from North and South America, collecting incredible biological value with an amazing quantity of animal, plants, insects, reptiles, microclimates, different types of forests, volcanoes, special micro-ecosystems and abundant wildlife. Central America hosts a great variety of biodiversity formed by its tropical weather patterns, multifaceted geography, life-bearing ocean currents and many more factors that have made it a showcase of evolution. Costa Rica's first mountain range emerges out of Guanacaste province; Orosi and Cacao are small, dormant volcanos; then there is the Rincon de la Vieja volcano, which is one of the biggest in this country. The entire mountain is a volcano and it features nine craters; but just one is active, belonging to the three main active volcanoes of Costa Rica at this moment. From the heights of the Rincon de la Vieja volcano, we can see both the Caribbean and Pacific lands of the country because this Guanacaste mountain range divides this nation's territory.  Sensoria lands are located on the Caribbean slope of the Rincon de la Vieja volcano, and this special positioning is the reason of its Magical Rainforest, a beautiful little paradise in the middle of nowhere where you can discover a natural blue water river in an amazing virgin rainforest, full of exotic wildlife of Costa Rica: snakes, frogs, tropical birds and mammals such as monkeys, raccoons, and on a lucky day a tapir or felines like Jaguars and Pumas.
