Costa Rica is located at the heart of the gold coast of Central America, just 10 degrees above the line of the equator. Central America and Costa Rica are amazing nature destinations, featuring magical ecosystems developed over thousands of years, gathering natural resources from North and South America, collecting incredible biological value with an amazing quantity of animal, plants, insects, reptiles, microclimates, different types of forests, volcanoes, special micro-ecosystems and abundant wildlife. Central America hosts a great variety of biodiversity formed by its tropical weather patterns, multifaceted geography, life-bearing ocean currents and many more factors that have made it a showcase of evolution. Costa Rica's first mountain range emerges out of Guanacaste province; Orosi and Cacao are small, dormant volcanos; then there is the Rincon de la Vieja volcano, which is one of the biggest in this country. The entire mountain is a volcano and it features nine craters; but just one is active, belonging to the three main active volcanoes of Costa Rica at this moment. From the heights of the Rincon de la Vieja volcano, we can see both the Caribbean and Pacific lands of the country because this Guanacaste mountain range divides this nation's territory. Sensoria lands are located on the Caribbean slope of the Rincon de la Vieja volcano, and this special positioning is the reason of its Magical Rainforest, a beautiful little paradise in the middle of nowhere where you can discover a natural blue water river in an amazing virgin rainforest, full of exotic wildlife of Costa Rica: snakes, frogs, tropical birds and mammals such as monkeys, raccoons, and on a lucky day a tapir or felines like Jaguars and Pumas.
