The Monkey Sanctuary: With the encroachment of civilization into their natural habitat the number or orphaned monkeys has risen in recent years and the numbers keep going up. Your tour includes a fee that we pay to help with the upkeep and care of the sanctuary. Orphaned baby monkeys are not always adopted by another family of monkeys, but if they are found in time they are brought here. They usually haven't developed the skills to survive in the wild, so the Monkey Sanctuary becomes their permanent home. Here you will be able to visit with a number of different monkey species, including the famous Howler Monkey. The Monkey Sanctuary rescues more than just monkeys.
