Antares Sailing Sunset Tour

Tamarindo's Antares Schooner Sailing Ship sets sail daily from Tamarindo beach Costa Rica, weather permitting. Daily tours meet at El Pescador Restaurant at 12:45 pm on the beach.  As we set sail you will enjoy snacks, and Open Bar throughout the trip. We head for Playa Huevo, and upon arrival, you can go snorkeling, swimming, go to the beach, or just laze around on the boat. Antares is 80 foot long, so she has a lot of space, and we have many bean bags on deck for very comfortable seating!! We then set sail for Playa Tamarindo, enjoying the amazing sunset an arrive back on the beach just before dark. We try to use as much organic produce as we can and also add a variety of known as superfoods. Our chef prepares 6 plates of healthy but not boring gourmet treats. Accommodating vegetarians or people with food intolerances is not a problem. Just ask. Our Chef typically prepares a tofu salad, veggie ceviche, a salmon plate and curry soup with veggies, coconut milk, ginger, and secret spices. A tasty 3 sprout salad, and fruit plate, prepared with organic oatmeal cookies, cream and mint.

ATV Adventure at Pura Aventura

Our tour guide will take you to trough our pastures and mountains. During the tour, guests have the chance to view different landscapes up close, from pastures to rivers, forest, and mountains. Guests ride with a guide through the pastures and the mountain trails up to a lookout peak, where they have a beautiful view of the area and the Pacific Ocean. The ATV is 2017, 350cc Honda. The tour is open to anybody of age 16 or older. Add the ATV to the zip line tour for a full adrenaline-charged experience.

Barra Honda Cavern Descent Tour

This is the most important cave system discovered so far in the country. It is made up of reef, like limestones. Ancient reefs that emerged due to over elevation that was caused by the tectonic faults. It developed 60 million years ago. The Barra Honda is a National Park with an amazing cave system. This cave represents thousands of years of geological history, which have resulted in an extensive system of independent caverns with formations of stalactites and stalagmites. It has a network of calcareous cavers, which have been explored 50% by scientists and speleologists. At present, only theVelvet cavern is open to the public because of it safe for non-experienced visitors and is ideal for adventure tourism. You will hike through beautiful forests then when you get to the cave you will be put in safety equipment and begin the decent down a ladder into the cave. Then you will explore for about an hour, seeing formations that were made millions of years ago. People with conditions such as hypertension, vertigo or claustrophobia are not recommended to descend to the caverns.

Bijagua Sloth Search and Discovery

Panga Fishing and Snorkeling ATV Tour
