Sportfishing in Guanacaste is very consistent as temperatures and weather patterns hold steady for most of the year. Guanacaste, Costa Rica is the western region of the country and is known as The Gold Coast for the 400 miles of prime beaches. Though it is also perfect for coastal fishing.

Depending on the way and where your captain thinks the best fishing spots for the day are, you have the chance to go for big roosterfish, jacks, dorado, yellowfin, mahi-mahi, or cubera snapper. We can also take you offshore fishing for sailfish or marlin; the main two targets, but large dorado and yellowfin tuna are also to be found.

If you want to bring the whole family and not everyone wants to fish, don’t worry they can spend the day snorkeling with schools of tropical fish, puffer-fish, maybe even sea turtles or manta ray! The adventure day also comes with complimentary fruits, water, and snacks. Remember to bring sunscreen, and a towel if you do want to get in the water.
