Designed for guests looking for more adrenaline than a traditional canopy experience, this approximately two-hour adventure combines 3 long zipline cables, the Superman position, a 22-meter rappel and the Tarzan Swing above the tropical forest of Guanacaste.
 

From long flights through the canopy to stepping off the rappel platform and taking on the swing, the Extreme Canopy is built around bigger aerial challenges and a completely different way to experience the forest.
 

Fly the Extreme Cables

After getting fitted with your safety equipment and completing your briefing, head into the canopy with your professional guides.

The Extreme Canopy features 3 long zipline cables, including cables approximately 450 meters or more, giving you longer flights and a different perspective of the surrounding Guanacaste forest.
 

Experience the Superman Zipline

Change the way you fly with the signature Superman position.

Instead of traveling in the traditional seated zipline position, you'll fly face-forward above the forest, creating the sensation of soaring through the canopy.

It's one of the defining experiences of the Extreme Canopy and one of the biggest differences between this tour and our Original Canopy course.
 

Take on the 22-Meter Rappel

The adventure continues when you reach the rappel platform.

With your guides and safety equipment in place, descend approximately 22 meters toward the forest below.

The rappel adds a completely different aerial challenge to the experience before you continue to the final adrenaline feature.
 

Finish With the Tarzan Swing

Then it's time for the Tarzan Swing.

From a platform more than 20 meters above the forest, get secured by your guides before stepping out and experiencing the rush of the swing.

It's a fitting finale to an adventure designed for guests looking for more than traditional ziplining.
 

Built for Adrenaline

The Extreme Canopy combines several different aerial experiences into one approximately two-hour adventure: long zipline flights, Superman position, rappel and Tarzan Swing.

The Extreme Canopy is recommended for ages 8 and older. Professional guides accompany you throughout the experience, and all required zipline safety equipment is provided.

For proper harness fit, the maximum pant/belt waist measurement is 46 inches.

Keep your eyes open while you're in the canopy for birds, monkeys and other wildlife that may be present in the surrounding forest. Wildlife sightings occur naturally and cannot be guaranteed.
